Pat Condell and irreverent thoughts
I think I should clarify my appreciation of Pat Condell video entries.
I agree with most of what he says, he says it in an intelligently funny way. I think he is nuts!
He is by degrees irreverent and deliberately offensive. I think he is courting controversy, but not so to cause trouble, more to make people talk and engage.
I think he has read Richard Dawkin’s “The God Delusion”, and most likely Sam Harris’s “End of Faith”… which are both atheist rants. Impassioned crys for reason, to not leave human fate to faith alone or at all. However, due to their passion, reason is lost in a quagmire of half thought out arguments. Which the religious faithful twist and turn to attack. Although, Dawkins he is looking for evidence, Harris is, frankly, nuts.
Anyway, keep reading stuff, keep talking, open your eyes and minds and get to know what makes you and your neighbours tick.
